Dear Parents,
Happy Fall! Enjoy the most beautiful season of all with the beautiful colors in nature. We appreciate your continuous support.
Kind Regards,
CTM
October 6 ‐ 12: Fire Prevention Week
October 14: Columbus Day (School OPEN)
November 1: Dress up as your favorite community helper ‐ Primary students only
Please refrain from holding lengthy conversations with your child’s teacher during drop off and pick up times. Our teachers must concentrate and supervise the children since this is a busy time of the day. If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher, please send them a message through Procare. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Student pick‐up Changes: If you would like to change your child’s pick‐up timings, we are happy to accommodate your needs. To help us with staffing, the school requires a month’s notice. CTM will not return or refund any tuition if pick‐up changes are requested without a month’s notice.
Shoes: No light‐up shoes, please. They distract your child and other children in the class. Students can wear running or tennis shoes to school.
Snack and Lunch: Please refrain from sending cookies/candy/chocolate/chocolate milk for lunch or snacks with your child.
Medication: If you want the school to administer any medication for your child, contact the front office, and fill out the Medication Form. Please do not send your child’s medication in his/her lunch bag.
Drop off Time: The morning work cycle is very crucial in a Montessori classroom. To get the most benefit out of our Montessori program, please drop off your child promptly by 8:30.
Dear Parents,
For October, I will continue to work on phonetic sounds with flashcards. We have circle time every morning after snack. During our circle time, we work with materials that help and improves a child’s fine motor controls and hand‐eye coordination. We work on identifying names, understanding up/down and one’s emotions using a handmade puppet. We will continue to read everyday books. We encourage reading a book at bedtime.
Have a great Fall!
Ms. Mojgan
Dear Parents,
October is here and Fall officially arrived on September 22nd! Our toddlers have been a busy little bunch engaging in many learning experiences. As the temperatures begin to cool and leaves are changing color, what better time to do leaf activities. We will be talking about fall seasons, apples, pumpkin...etc.
Please label all your child’s belongings in order to create less confusion. Also, please dress them in clothes that they can manage themselves and pull‐ups for ease in using potty.
Fun home project: Apple prints
Materials: apples, paper towels, paper plate, white construction paper, paint (fall color).
Cut your apple in half‐ pour paint on plate‐ dip your apple‐ blot excess with paper towel‐ print your
apple on paper.
Thank you,
Toddler Teachers
Dear Parents,
